Microsoft hasn’t given up yet producing their own foldable phones. Recently, Microsoft has officially launched Surface Duo 2. As the latest generation, Microsoft Surface 2 comes with Android 11 OS and some new features. One of them is the newest chipset, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 with 5G support.
That chipset is combined with 8 GB RAM and 2 options of internal memory: 128 GB and 512 GB. Besides hardware enhancement, the aspect of photography is also updated. Now, Surface Duo 2 is featured with 3 rear cameras arranged vertically in a square module.

The 3 cameras include 12 MP main camera, 16 MP ultra-wide camera, and 12 MP telephoto camera. There is also a 12-MP selfie camera on the front.
When it comes to the design, Surface Duo 2 offers 2 screens. They include the main screen that can be accessed when it is unfolded and a front screen that can be used when it is folded. The main screen uses an 8.3” AMOLED Dual PixelSense Fusion Display that can produces 2,688 x 1,892 pixels. The front screen adopts a 5.8” AMOLED Single PixelSense Screen that can produce 1,344 x 1,892 pixels. Both screens use refresh rate 90 Hz tech, brightness level up to 800 nits, and Gorilla Glass Victu protective glass.
For the folding mode, this Smartphone can be folded in or like a book and half folded and set up like a tent. What makes it interesting is that Surface Duo 2 supports stylus that can be used in all products of latest Surface generation that can be pasted to the back of the device.
This foldable phone runs with Android 11 OS and is equipped with a 4,449-mAh dual battery. This battery is claimed to stay all day.
In the US, Surface Duo 2 is priced at $ 1,500. This is more affordable than its rival, Galaxy Z Fold 3 where the price is $ 1,800. Recently, this foldable phone becomes a hot topic to be discussed. Comes with a 8-GB RAM, Surface Duo 2 is perfect for any activity.

Microsoft also updates the Launcher with an updated ‘activity feed. It includes a new user interface. On this device, you can also find default wallpapers, new text tones & ringtones, and Microsoft Photos app that is powered by OneDrive. This app offers helpful editing tools. Besides, Microsoft also rebuilds the camera app exclusively from the ground up for Surface Duo 2.
